So excited to share the Orange County maternity session I did with the beautiful Skyla and Ryan! I’ve been friends with Skyla since my first year of college and I’m so happy to be a part of this special time in her life. She and her hubby make such an awesome pair and I am ecstatic that their little one will be a July baby like myself! This was my first time doing a maternity shoot but thankfully these two went along with every one of my ideas and we made it work!
Skyla and Ryan first met at UC Irvine and did their engagement shoot at UC Irvine, so the campus was naturally the best spot to capture this next chapter of their lives. I love having nature as the backdrop of my photos so we chose several spots around Aldrich Park for the shoot. I was surprised by how much variety in greenery we found; I definitely didn’t appreciate how lovely our park was when I was still a student.
